Two Forces
Misc Scripture | 29 February 2020There are essentially only two forces in this world from each of our perspectives: the power within you that you command, and the power on the outside, of which you can influence but are not the main operator. This indicates that you are largely a spectator to the universal energy interacting with itself like a film. Do not be fooled by the physical manifestations, these are not separate entities, it's all one thing. And you are a part of this thing, your own part, the singular unit you can accurately guide.
Certainly, the process of said guidance itself is debatable, as every move you make is surely predetermined in some loose sense (weighing up the pros and cons to an external situation out of your control then selecting your favoured option based on previous experiences which once again you had no control over) but these are still undeniable as brand new occurrences, without fail, no matter the situation. Even the most mundane of tasks have never in the history of the universe been analysed before with the fingerprint of your mind, the infinite combination of grooves and chemicals in your brain are reacting in wholly unique ways, never encountered throughout time in this exact manner. Find peace in the understanding that your most dire of confrontations were merely the universe using your brain to work out something it did not have the solution for.
And now here you are, perpetually feeding 100% fresh data down into the bottomless pool of collective knowledge, serving future generations through the process of evolution in your little way, oh-so small yet an imperative component to something much greater. Once you truly grasp this, the depression monster will be unequipped to hold onto you anymore.
I enjoy referring to this system as "God" because it pisses people off.
