Why Did That Horrible Thing Happen to Me?
Book 2: The Internal Universe | Chapter 2.4 | 30 September 2020
Human evolution may seem impressive and all-important so close to the ground, but from a Universal standpoint, it is hardly noticeable.
Similarly, your very cells are experiencing evolutionary changes themselves, living to pass information onto your bigger system before dying shortly after. But do you notice these unceasing microscopic activities?
Evolution occurs through infinite strains on infinite measures, yet the manner of each advancement is strikingly comparable in details. Conflict interrupts a timeline, and the receiver either adapts to conquer said conflict or falls conquered by it. Harmony is achieved with all outcomes. On your person alone, evolution is happening in an unfathomable number of capacities, but the one which dominates our respective minds is the evolution through our experiences.
Conflict moves evolution faster than anything. If bad things never happened to you, your maturity would be sluggish and unsubstantial. Even worse, if you sheltered from the world's hurt and everything ran smoothly for an extended period, you would be dangerously unequipped for when your path did turn sour. It is imperative that bad things happen to us and that they happen routinely. It's for our own good.
When "adverse" incidents jostle into our lives, they are blessings. Undesirable occurrences force our minds into a posture of reflection. They intensify the emotions which highlight a separation from our true selves. They encourage us to surge towards our happiness with both hands. The eternal struggle to relocate your internal harmony teaches us how to avoid similar hiccups in the future. They gift us with an opportunity to make decisions of which to be proud. They strengthen our bond with ourselves. And they can always be exploited to advance your life, creatively, financially, morally, or otherwise. If you can shift something bad to inspire something good, you will ultimately be grateful it happened. The vast majority of the greatest scientific breakthroughs or motivational material or artistic movements arose from the desire to address social or inner turmoil.
"Failure" is also the best. It's unreasonable to expect yourself to possess the key that unlocks what works first try. It's a much more reliable process to march forward, trying key after key, unlocking what doesn't work until you've earned the technique required. Failure is nothing but a perspective that you can shift as a part of the journey, revealing another step on the footpath. You will never know what the best second angle is until you have attempted the first angle. And the more dead-ends you bump into, the less afraid of dead-ends you will become, realigning your energy to recognise each dead-end as one less dead-end to go.
Unfortunately, so many minds do not operate in this fashion. Their circumstances dictate their outlook and not the other way, perpetuating a circle of self-sustaining victimisation. Their mental context vibrates in pain until they can see only pain, their reality responding by offering more pain still. Their lives become an unbroken onslaught of bad relationships, bad health, bad finances, and bad thoughts until their Life is so unbearable that it no longer rembles a "life" whatsoever.
Janthopoyism views conflict as an act of "God"—a divine intervention, if you will—one that intentionally spoils your humanmade plans by evolutionary design. The External Universe is out of your control, so there are zero benefits in getting upset about this inevitability. The system seeks only answers and can assume the role of the bully to get them. It will kick you to the floor if you let it, and it will continue to kick you while you're down. On the other hand, your Internal Universal does care about your wellbeing, and it harnesses the power to spin this conflict into an evolution of your person. So stand up for yourself! Spar with Life competitively. One of Janthopoyism's most compelling theories muse that the Cosmic order may recognise you as a worthy opponent, tailoring its conflict for your brand specifically, granting you a vibrantly rich life as a result. We're just playing cards with God here, people! Our scripture will repetitively elaborate on this fun game to come, but for now, simply focus on shifting your attitude, remodelling scary obstacles into opportunities for growth. Practice makes perfect.
We are not talking about blind optimism or pretending to be positive when you're not (even though this will help). Instead, we are appealing to your mind to recognise inner disturbances as a spotlight. Your emotional upset illuminates what has removed you from where your internal energy truly wants to be. From there, it is as uncomplicated as reversing the order, calculating what it will take to overcome this negativity then pulling yourself closer to your Internal Universe's happiness. Ignoring your problems will not work, but turning away from them towards a solution-based mentality will not only work but will work much faster and better. Your emotional guidance system will purr in agreement with the headstrong switch in energy, and your brain will concur that this logical option is likely to reach the most favourable results.
Once you achieve this internal harmony, you will have progressed forward to better recognise what your meaning of life is. It takes training, but eventually, we can automate terrible events to initiate a bubble of energy, pushing us into new vantage points we'd never considered. We can come to appreciate and even crave those times when Life challenges us because they signify a meaningful leap of individual evolution coming soon.
And by viewing these negatives as positives, you have already destroyed all of their power. Again, this concept is something we shall be addressing in greater detail the more distance we cover. But when it comes to this chapter, it's enough if you understand that "everything always working out" and "forever landing on your feet" are nothing but states of mind.
To conclude, we'd like to call attention to people in immense poverty or with physical disabilities. At times, we all consider these humans as prime examples of lives who have it harder than others. Janthopoyism recognises this may regularly be the case, but it is never a given. People with seemingly very little often have a profound understanding of what's important in life. Luxuries have not diluted their priorities, and they know what it is to be alive better than most of us ever will.
Moreover, there are plenty of instances where people refused to stay in positions of difficulty, using their sacred conflict to fight upwards, rising into realms of astounding success, which they would not have strived for if hatched into a more privileged situation. Janthopoysim salutes these individuals above any other!
Meanwhile, we offer our deepest condolences to those born into the curse of great wealth. For nothing will aggravate the illusion of our immediate reality more than defining one's worth with material successes. And nothing will trap one's thinking faster than the cyclic subconscious nag of stuff to lose. And nothing will destroy the meaning of one's life more rapidly than getting everything you want whenever you want it.
Janthopoyism is a spiritual philosophy meets self-improvement program.
We view the Absolute collection of all Universal Energy to be the highest power. You are part of that power. You are an extension of divinity.
The ultimate purpose of this power is to evolve, and we each have a unique part to play in this progression. The details of your role are relayed to you every moment of your life via emotional notifications.
The tricky bit is that human beings have developed a communication barrier between themselves and this instruction.
This barrier is called "the brain".
But never fear! By utilising some very simple practices, you can open the flow of exchange, granting you access to the ether of infinite ideas, the infallible path of your guided destiny, and the recollection of your holiness.
Which is basically a wanky way of saying that your life is about to get a whole bunch better.
Join the movement before it becomes too mainstream.
