Your Brain Has Failed You
Book 2: The Internal Universe | Chapter 2.2 | 26 August 2020
A piece of the Universal Energy lives inside of you. You can always feel it, especially during moments of heightened emotions. Holy men have documented its presence throughout history.
Soul/spirit (Abrahamic religions), Atman or Prana (Hinduism), qi/ch'i (Taoism), vijñāna (Buddhism), Kami (Shintoism), mana (Oceanic mythology), or vitalism (scientific theories). Call it what you will—for it has many names which overlap on central concepts—but it is simply your portion of the Universe's electricity. It brought your being into vibration when you were born, it keeps you growing, it heals you, and then it leaves when you die.
People speak of a Higher Power. What we are talking about here is the Deeper Power. These ideas are limitless in consequence, extending outward and inward forever. Following that notion, if there is indeed an equal infinite distance from your person in either direction, then it turns out you are the centre of the Universe after all. That's a Janthopoyism joke, hahaha. We hope you liked it.
The Indian philosophy Samkhya names the energy that vibrates within as Purusha otherwise known as your True Self. It is the experiencer recording the Prakṛti, which is anything that manifests in your awareness; from the material matter you encounter to the thoughts you think to the feelings you feel. It feeds this information into the Collective Mind to assist in advancing evolution. It also sends an emotional response to the brain, informing how close your conduct is to your spiritual path.
If you ever need examples of energy masters, look no further than the animal kingdom. These creatures function primarily on a level of intuition. Instincts dictate their actions, pursuing choices that favour right over wrong. Non-human animals are so in tune with the Universal Energy that they sense fear or safety. The same goes for human babies. These beings' minds are clear; their brains are secondary tools in their survival.
The brain is an organ like the bladder, lungs, or large intestine. It would be a useless hunk of meat if not for the electricity of Life powering it. But when it's running, it has specific services to perform. The brain's lengthy job description includes (but is not limited to) memory storage, calculations, communication, motor behaviour, and translating vibrations into readable material.
However, the human narrative is unusual when compared with our animal counterparts. For whatever reason, our brains surged forward, dominating as the principal offence and defence mechanism. The more we focused on this organ, the more it evolved until our minds became self-aware and took control of the show. Instead of humans remaining open to the emotional guidance of the Universal Energy, we squeezed off that natural insight and leaned into a reality built upon finite logic. That is because the brain is only comfortable when it understands what is going on.
Janthopoyism's theories rely on the quantum mechanical observer effect. This phenomenon proves that our existence reflects perception; that matter changes as soon as an article examines it. Hence, when the collective human perception called for understanding, our reality obeyed and transformed into just that: a reality of logic. Gradually, we lost the mystical partnership with the Universe we once held because spirituality is not a mental concern. That is why you cannot measure it using the mind's logic. And why should you have to? It was the mind that summoned a world of logic in the first place, not the spirit! How unfair to demand the very thing you invented.
If ancient texts are anything to go by, history is rife with humans harnessing exceptional energetic abilities. It is as if our species once reached a sweet spot where our brains and intuition shared the roost, the perfect mixture of comprehension meets cosmic manifestation. Sure, some may argue that certain individuals still possess such capabilities. And, sure, there is evidence that our evolution is turning a cyclic corner where many again seek a profound spiritual connection like before. But at some point on the human timeline we fell into our brains, allowing the organ to dominate our lives so intensely that we equated who we were with our minds. A person was no longer a vibrancy; they were the information that their brain spewed forth established by genetics and previous encounters wholly out of their control.
Thus, we state that your brain has failed you. Your brain serves only itself as its own appointed master. It's perverse.
Your brain is not you. Your brain is a lump of flesh soaked in chemicals. Your brain is like a vinyl with intricate grooves that are nothing but silent crevices without the electricity to play them. Once turned on, it runs on conditioned reactions, weighing up the pros and cons of every situation based on prior events then pursuing what it calculates to be the correct route of action. Even your recollections are unreliable, proven by oddities such as shared false memories (known as the ill-named Mandela Effect) or the studies on flashbulb memories, where shocking events are saved vividly yet without detailed accuracy. These inconsistent factors are no more you than your spleen or your pinkie toe. If I remove your leg, are you no longer you? The same electricity that powers your thoughts supply the function of your heart. Yes, your heartbeat is imperative to your endurance, as is your mind. But would you say you are your heartbeat? Do you identify with this organic operation? If not, why does your neurological activity hold the throne? Because it told you so? And you believed it?
What you consider to be yourself is merely wet biological matter. If someone's head experiences trauma, their personality can change, or they can completely lose their memories. Work on your mind as much as you want but remember that you're only ever one car crash away from becoming a completely different character. It means nothing.
One other essential role of the brain is interpreting the transmission between the Internal and the External Universes. We have taught that your internal energy sends data to the Universal Energy to sustain evolution. However, there are also messages returned to you. The Universal Energy has pre-programmed guidance into your inner energy, instructing you what to do at all times.
The problem comes when we cannot hear the advice because our minds are too preoccupied. Our judgments have become cluttered with what the brain has deemed more valuable. These things are usually ludicrous and insignificant such as worrying about something stupid you said ten years ago, or how you must remember to buy milk on the way home, or ensuring you burst into tears whenever that song reminds you of your ex. The brain is a runaway train, firing thoughts in every direction, which is the leading cause of depression and anxiety.
Janthopoyism believes that the brain cannot directly access the Universal Mind. The less you use your brain, the better. Sadly, it is not that simple because the brain is still in the driver's seat and will need to consciously decide to step back, granting your emotional energy more control. Whether your brain will or won't do this is not even up to you. It will make that choice depending on what experiences it has had in the past.
Therefore, we argue that the principal mission of Janthopoyism is to convince your brain that loosening its grip is the correct procedure to heed. We shall do this by illustrating how our system will help the brain achieve what it already wants. And unlike many other spiritual beliefs, we are committed to a basis of rationale because that is the only language the brain accepts.
For now, however, we simply ask your brain to make the choice to keep reading.
Janthopoyism is a spiritual philosophy meets self-improvement program.
We view the Absolute collection of all Universal Energy to be the highest power. You are part of that power. You are an extension of divinity.
The ultimate purpose of this power is to evolve, and we each have a unique part to play in this progression. The details of your role are relayed to you every moment of your life via emotional notifications.
The tricky bit is that human beings have developed a communication barrier between themselves and this instruction.
This barrier is called "the brain".
But never fear! By utilising some very simple practices, you can open the flow of exchange, granting you access to the ether of infinite ideas, the infallible path of your guided destiny, and the recollection of your holiness.
Which is basically a wanky way of saying that your life is about to get a whole bunch better.
Join the movement before it becomes too mainstream.
