Accessing the Universal Mind

Book 3: The Bridge of Receivings | Chapter 3.3 | 25 November 2020

Accept or reject the details of this practice however you see fit. The results will remain the same.

Refresher: There is a Universal Mind. It is the pool of all knowledge collected from every being that ever lived. The Universal Energy uses this depthless library to calculate its next move of initiating conflict. This process provokes adaptation, change, and, therefore, evolution. Think of this database in terms of the internet, except it extends back until before time, it's not limited to humans, and nothing is erased, only built upon for eternity.

Now here comes the tricky part. Janthopoyism suggests that we can access this Universal Mind just as we do with the internet. The only difference is that your brain does not have the wifi password.

When you find yourself in uncharted territory or tangled from your usual approach, the Universal Mind can supply the map for further progression, redrawn just for you. No matter what problem you are confronting, there is always an answer, and that information is readily accessible to you at any time. But the trouble comes when our minds squeeze themselves into their little predefined confinements and cannot see beyond their self-constructed four walls, only listening to itself talking itself in circles.

That said, the brain is still an essential component of the program, for without your brain, how would you translate the messages from the Universal Energy into comprehensible material? And how would you remember it? But that is where its role ends, and when faced with a particularly intense issue, your brain is of little use. On the contrary, when the going gets tough, the mind tends to rush into a frenzy, firing as much conditioned-based splatter as it can muster, hoping that something sticks. Sometimes this type of frantic action might get the job done. Other times it may fall over into a panic attack, and then you've truly lost this battle. But either way, it's an unreliable method in solving a complication. Please note that the brain functions on previous experiences alone, so unless your memory has successfully been through this scenario before, it does not possess the optimal fix for you.

The perfect answer will come from emotion above intellect. Janthopoyism recognises the spirit (the energy which powers Life) as the conductor for this emotional information, and we shall use this term freely. Still, if you have an aversion to such concepts, words like "intuition" or "gut" may apply just as aptly. But what's more important than terminology is to acknowledge what role your mind plays (or rather, doesn't play). At no point should you feel you are racking your brain for knowledge because that will take longer and produce inferior results. Instead, one must find a mental space of calm rationality and allow the ocean of infinite wisdom to wash down your Bridge of Receivings like a gift. Because it is!

This technique may sound similar to meditation, and it very well might be just that. Many spiritual teachings lean this way, and we bow to them. That said, we do not feel a need to dedicate our scripture to that practice. Some people discover great success in meditation; others do not. That is your path to explore, and if you obtain something there, then great! The available text on the subject is ample. You do not need us.

Irrespective of the above, everybody has an ideal environment where their thoughts naturally drift with a gentle flow. Perhaps it is in meditation. Perhaps it's somewhere else. We've heard glowing reports from people driving their car or taking a shower or going for a jog through nature. Your job is to find your sacred ground and put your question out into the Universe.

Consider writing it in a diary, for this will unlock a state further outside the prison of your conditioning. Scribble down as much information as you can, favouring quantity over quality. Brainstorming is this exactly, as you're unclogging the initial barriers your brain has created to pluck seemingly random information from the stream until you strike gold. Try viewing it from a greater perspective. How does it benefit you? What is the purpose of this in your life? Then forget about it. Literally do nothing. Remove yourself from it entirely. Walk away, think about something else, something that makes you happy. Let the brain come in and out of focus as the thought disappears then reappears. Occasionally return to the thought to see if any new information is attached, then rerelease it. If you feel resistance or uncertainty in your emotions, the answer is not there yet, do not act. If you feel a slight hunch or a tickle of curiosity, play with the thought. Let the thought play with you. Extract the joy. The more fun you have, the better. Follow the positive sensations until the inspiration, the idea, the resolution softly lands in your head and knocks you backwards. You will know it's the best next step because the spirit will weave zero unfavourable emotion into it.

We liken this to a magical filing cabinet in the brain. Turn the thought into a piece of paper, place it into the cabinet, then shut the drawer. Move on with your life. Time will pass, and you will eventually remember to recheck the mental drawer. Maybe the hypothetical paper has not changed. Close the drawer. Move on. Or is there suddenly additional writing on the page? Are there new words in your head that weren't there last time you checked? That's the Universal Energy handing you an outline of the plan. It's the gifts from the lightbulb gods! Take note of what it is. How does it make you feel? And if it feels good, can you take action? Or would more incubation serve the paper further? Your emotions will tell you everything. Your mind is hardly active during the exchange. Because if there's one thing that Janthopoyism knows, it's that we will perform our best "thinking" outside of the brain. The Bridge of Receivings will place our most beneficial thoughts into our heads.

Your only job is to plant the seed. Now and then, give it some attention, but if you overwater it, it's not going to sprout, and you'll be eating soggy seeds for dinner. Instead, let the miracle of nature do the work with very little involvement from you.

The mind is merely a meeting point between the invisible energy and physical matter, akin to the electricity powering a needle through the predetermined grooves of a vinyl, carved out by past experiences. It's an awe-inspiring tool, one that has evolved into a position of infinite power, a testament to divinity in itself. But you cannot trust your mind to make the best choices. If you act upon your brain's instruction, then you have missed that opportunity to use the Universal Mind, like that brilliant retort which magically appeared long after you had already declared a mediocre statement. And therein lies your most vital defence. Patience.

Every moment you can take before executing action will help move you away from your conditioned responses. It's not about avoiding the obstacle. It's not about letting the dilemma overwhelm your indecisiveness. It's about avoiding immediate action by building a familiarity with the problem first, allowing it to enter the brain and then delegating the puzzle to the Universe to analyse while you get on with better pursuits. That is why people swear by "sleeping on it" before making big decisions or how some get their most profound ideas in the shower. It's not because your brain-wires take hours to boot up or demand hot water to connect properly. It's because you shush your cerebrum, opening your bridge for the Universe to insert the solution.

The ancient Chinese spiritual tradition of Taoism teaches wu wei, a philosophy that perfectly matches what we are telling. It is "effortless action", i.e. action without intention. The brain should not meddle with the world. Instead, a person should find the direction of the current and glide with it. Move in unison with the natural order, and you can never make a mistake.

But living in a modern world does not always permit such indulgences, correct? What about those critical occasions when you don't have the luxury of sleep? What if you require the result right away? The process does not change. Stay calm, let the thoughts play, follow the pleasant feelings. Seek those happy mental images that grant small emotional wins to bring momentum to the ball. Confuse the brain's patterns by changing location, switching from computer to a notepad, or doodling instead of writing. Turn it into a game. And above all else, hold onto the knowledge that there is always... always a way. What if you found yourself in the presence of the world's most outstanding expert in the field of your problem? What would they suggest? You better believe they'd have the best answer in the world! The best answer in the world is out there, and you can call it in here. You've just got to casually roll it around into shape.

The more you exercise an enforced pause, the more automated this response will become, falling into calm rationale quicker and quicker, especially when something challenging bumps your plans abruptly off course. Practice with your emails. When your inbox lights up, read the message immediately, shoving the embryo into the soil of your mind, but do not reply. Instead, leave your response to dance about the back of your skull as you attend to other matters. Revisit it when you remember or set a reminder if it's urgent. Chances are, next time you check it out, there will be new words in your head that weren't there before, and they didn't come from you. And the moment your response relaxes out of you with lubricated joy, click that send button.

Janthopoyism proposes that deep within this place of removed focus is where history's holy men found "God" talking to them. It was not a brain procedure for such a concept defies logic. Instead, it was divine information revealed only to surrendered emotions then fed into an open mind. It was here that the Universal Energy delivered all sacred "inspired texts".

We are only itching the skin of these viewpoints and will be picking them apart in much more intensive detail as we go on. But at this juncture, it is worth noting that we received all of Janthopoyism's scripture from this station of non-resistance.

Janthopoyism is a spiritual philosophy meets self-improvement program.
We view the Absolute collection of all Universal Energy to be the highest power. You are part of that power. You are an extension of divinity.
The ultimate purpose of this power is to evolve, and we each have a unique part to play in this progression. The details of your role are relayed to you every moment of your life via emotional notifications.

The tricky bit is that human beings have developed a communication barrier between themselves and this instruction.
This barrier is called "the brain".
But never fear! By utilising some very simple practices, you can open the flow of exchange, granting you access to the ether of infinite ideas, the infallible path of your guided destiny, and the recollection of your holiness.

Which is basically a wanky way of saying that your life is about to get a whole bunch better.

Join the movement before it becomes too mainstream.
