Skew: Work

Book 5: The External Worship | Chapter 5.6 | 29 April 2021

Like those Skews that came before, the Work Skew has surface descriptions that you'd immediately identify with the title, as well as those layered a little further below.

For most of us, the word "work" is closest associated with "job", and this is unquestionably a monumental chunk of what we are discussing here. You serve a large dollop of your energetic supply towards a project, and someone exchanges this effort for a monetary value.

Finances are deeply integrated into the Work Skew. Human opinion on money varies, and considering our social systems' dependency on currency as well as the uneven distribution of wealth amidst classes, it's no surprise that many reject its role in their life while others chase it with salivating fangs stretched out. Janthopoyism is not here to say which approach is right and which is wrong (for they are both neither), yet we can recognise what money is on a practical level. It's merely a trade of energy translated into one shared singular format. It creates a central avenue between skillsets, allowing every offering to be exchanged with every other offering as long as it goes through this conversion first. Money is not the root of all evil nor the prize at the edge of the rainbow. It is whatever you allow it to be.

For almost everyone reading this, wages are an inescapable part of reality. If you live outside of your financial means, it can cause significant distress, and distress is what we're trying to avoid. If a lack of this resource is your chief obstacle, then perhaps the simple act of looking online for better-paying employment could raise you that .5. Another option is to study different budgeting techniques. I'm aware that these are boring topics, but they need not be scary mountains to conquer. Remember that all it takes is any activity to get the wheel turning, which will bring the positive vibrations buzzing, which will open you up to the eventual idea of how to climb to the top of this trouble.

It's worth highlighting that the chase for cash will never end. The richest men in the world still seek greater riches. You'll uncover a more profound peace in fair financial trade for the amount of energy you expend. And it would be best if you only expended as much energy as required to afford what you want. No less, no more. And with dedicated research, you will easily discover that you can always afford what you want for smaller quantities than you'd assume.

Further along this chain, some humans are born into immense wealth. They do not think about jobs for money is forever accessible to their fingertips. Janthopoyism extends vast sympathy to these characters. Many of them will be utterly unbalanced in their Skew System and won't even realise it's because of the Work Skew. These people will lose so much of life's struggle and reward, and a sizeable portion of their growth will be distorted beyond empathetic abilities. If this applies to you, we highly suggest you get a job anyway. This pursuit will grant you structure and a sense of responsibility while discovering additional meaning to your path. Continue through this chapter, and we shall explain as it goes on.

Meanwhile, there are communes who have wholly eradicated their need for finances, relying on self-sustaining methods to keep them off the grid. That is wonderful! But the removal of money from the equation does not remove the work! In fact, these places often require even more challenging work to maintain a standard, hence why this Skew will still apply.

Let's move on to the jobs themselves. First and foremost, the loathing of your professional role will immeasurably damage your overall life experience. Underpayment is one thing, but other issues include:
Overworking.
Dealing with undesirable colleagues and customers.
Taking orders from an arrogant boss.
And performing tasks with which you have no emotional connection.

Perhaps there is a minor issue listed above that you can recognise and promptly address to lift this Skew. Then again, maybe you despise your occupation beyond rectification and would happily pull a sickie every day. If this is the case, you have a gaping problem here, and you must fix it.

Luckily, employment and money are abundant no matter what you have been taught. People want to pay for your energy, so click around the job boards and check what's out there, possibly applying to a few that strike your fancy. This activity alone may be enough to raise your vibration ever so slightly, building the next step in the staircase.

The ultimate goal is to love your professional life with a desire to partake in it each working day. You need to appreciate your coworkers, believe in the product, and feel valued as a piece of the engine. Once someone is paying you for your skillset rather than your hours, then you are being utilised in the correct manner specific to you. You are making your Internal Universe happy, which produces the highest quality of energy. And you are trading that energy for the paycheck that keeps you alive and allows you to participate in the world's other glorious offerings. What a frictionless flow of evolution!

And here is where the deeper part of this Skew comes in. Beneath the Work umbrella, we lump your hobbies and passions too. What do you adore doing in your spare moments? What pursuits do you deem worthy of your energetic trade irrespective of payment? Which actions are you ecstatic to perform that would fill you with joyful amazement if you could pursue them full-time? If you can blossom this work dream into reality, then this cylinder will be firing with maximum force, and you'll hardly need to keep an eye on it.

As anyone who has achieved their career goals will tell you, it takes effort to get there. But to stand a chance, you must commit to this release of your passion after hours. Without pleasurable pastimes (especially those of a skill-developing nature), your life may nose-dive regardless of whether you enjoy your job and earn enough cash or not. Seeking this fun aspect of your productive personality is imperative to the Work Skew. Focus upon it with the same amount of urgency as anything that pays you, and eventually, it just might!

In the end, the formula is simple. Find what you're good at. Find what you love doing. And find what people want. The area where all three of those elements overlap is the sweet spot. It is here you'll contribute to society's appetites while setting up your rocket and blasting to the stars. Because no one will be as enthusiastic about doing the work as you are.

Janthopoyism is a spiritual philosophy meets self-improvement program.
We view the Absolute collection of all Universal Energy to be the highest power. You are part of that power. You are an extension of divinity.
The ultimate purpose of this power is to evolve, and we each have a unique part to play in this progression. The details of your role are relayed to you every moment of your life via emotional notifications.

The tricky bit is that human beings have developed a communication barrier between themselves and this instruction.
This barrier is called "the brain".
But never fear! By utilising some very simple practices, you can open the flow of exchange, granting you access to the ether of infinite ideas, the infallible path of your guided destiny, and the recollection of your holiness.

Which is basically a wanky way of saying that your life is about to get a whole bunch better.

Join the movement before it becomes too mainstream.
