Dealing with Your Wrong Emotions Right

Book 4: The Bridge of Offerings | Chapter 4.4 | 17 November 2021

If something feels good, it's because it is good, and you should pursue more of it.
If something feels bad, it's because it is bad, and you should move onto something else immediately.

Simple, right?

Unfortunately, no, it's not that simple. Nothing ever is.

One of the most problematic examples is the relationship between nervousness and excitement. They are first cousins! Nervousness is oft considered a negative emotion due to its unpleasantness. However, that is usually an outdated survival mechanism to warn against the abandonment of your comfort zone and should be analysed or even embraced rather than shunned.

Fear is never a valid excuse on its own to avoid a decision. When choice scares you, it might indicate a real positive opportunity to evolve into a larger version of yourself. Nervousness frequently suggests you're on the exact right path running into high-quality conflict, and you're about to level up. When you take action despite nervousness, that is a clear sign of bravery.

Again, as with any emotional guidance, recalibrate from a long-term viewpoint. Take a moment to gauge whether the reward is worth the risk. If your intentions live within your moral scope, and you know you will be proud of yourself for taking the leap, then the outcome is irrelevant. If you do not jump, you will regret it. If you do jump, you can always look back at your decision in peace. But please don't forget that the Universe may opt to return a hardball. Always be willing to accept those consequences, too.

Another perplexing emotion is anger. Here is your Internal Universe so loudly stating it doesn't like something that it is pouring fuel onto your fire and provoking your energy to explode in a direction with great force. As we know you've experienced before, this wild eruption can be dangerous because that red hue blinds our eyes, causing our actions to become careless. And while you're out swinging at feverish speeds, the Universe is going to react. Perhaps it may rise to meet you with fury of its own, generating conflict so extreme that it damages everyone involved. Or maybe it might yield to your temper and learn to evade you for the sake of its growth. Either result is undesirable, as it stems from an irrational you, drowning in resistance and egotism while force-feeding further frustrations into your reality.

"Outrage is like a lot of other things that feel good but, over time, devour us from the inside out. Except it's even more insidious than most vices because we don't even consciously acknowledge that it's a pleasure." – Tim Kreider

Our recommendation has not changed. The better you get at catching that initial flare, the more control over your conditions you will earn. And if you can seize that pause, then anger transforms into an immensely valuable starting point to play with. There's a ton of energy in there! So channel it towards the polar-opposite of your immediate situation (what you do wants rather than what you don't want; the solution above the problem), and then you can generate the most powerful emotion of them all: passion.

There is no circumstance or emotional reaction that one can't overcome using the proposed approach. When a negative feeling threatens your day, do not suppress it. Look at it, recognise it, greet it, hello. Ask the vibration what it's so concerned about? What would make it feel better? And then turn to focus in that direction, finding almost instant relief in the proactive resolution-based metal shift.

And once the switch becomes an automated priority, then you can start to have fun with it, exploiting every card played by the Cosmos for your gain. When Life hands you lemons, make lemonade, sell the lemonade, and use the profits to build a lemonade empire. Get creative with it. Let pain inspire your artistic masterpiece. Let loss encourage an improved replacement. Let harsh words write comedy routines. Let injury spark new fashion accessories. If you believe that your turmoil is too dire a material for motivation, then you are 100% correct. If you believe that your turmoil can be milked to not only profit your life but also enhance other lives around you, then you are 100% correct.

That said, sometimes Life may deal conflict so heavy that you will be well and truly stuck. All this mean is that the best move is not immediately available to you. Make peace with your position. Appreciate this enforced break to practice thoughts of spiritual awareness to master the art of letting go. At the same time, never give up on hope. Remember that you can always find joy in your mind via daydreams and optimistic predictions. Keep your eye on all potential escape routes until one manifests, and then you can zip away to freedom on a wave of exhilaration so fast that you're long gone before anyone even noticed your smile.

Janthopoyism is a spiritual philosophy meets self-improvement program.
We view the Absolute collection of all Universal Energy to be the highest power. You are part of that power. You are an extension of divinity.
The ultimate purpose of this power is to evolve, and we each have a unique part to play in this progression. The details of your role are relayed to you every moment of your life via emotional notifications.

The tricky bit is that human beings have developed a communication barrier between themselves and this instruction.
This barrier is called "the brain".
But never fear! By utilising some very simple practices, you can open the flow of exchange, granting you access to the ether of infinite ideas, the infallible path of your guided destiny, and the recollection of your holiness.

Which is basically a wanky way of saying that your life is about to get a whole bunch better.

Join the movement before it becomes too mainstream.
